I joined the ELMCIP Project in July 2010, and will be busy working on this project for the new two years. This does not mean, that I'm not available for other contract work/projects, but this will reduces my availability by about 10-15%.

My job will be, database designing, site building, theming, getting the remaining team members up to speed on Drupal, and develop needed Drupal modules. The project have already started, and we are currently looking for the right moment to migrate to Drupal 7, where we are aiming on utilizing the out of the box, RDFa support, and the improved media support.

I'm thrilled to be part of a larger international team of people on this scale. Looking forward to be working together with rest of the ELMCIP team where a lot of them are locaed at University of Bergen (UIB), wow I'm actually able to go and talk to a customer, in the flesh.

About ELMCIP

Developing a Network-Based Creative Community: Electronic Literature as a Model of Creativity and Innovation in Practice (ELMCIP) is a collaborative research project funded by the Humanities in the European Research Area (HERA) JRP for Creativity and Innovation.

The ELMCIP project involves seven European academic research partners and one non-academic partner who will investigate how creative communities of practitioners form within a transnational and transcultural context in a globalized and distributed communication environment. Focusing on the electronic literature community in Europe as a model of networked creativity and innovation in practice, ELMCIP is intended both to study the formation and interactions of that community and also to further electronic literature research and practice in Europe.
